Arches National Park

From the series: Americana. 

In this black and white image, the natural stone formations of Arches National Park rise like ancient gateways carved by wind and time. Framed beneath a vast desert sky, the sweeping arch in the foreground curves with elegance and gravity — a geological sculpture millions of years in the making.

The absence of color brings focus to the textures: sun-scorched rock, weathered striations, and shadows that stretch across the sand like brushstrokes. “Stone Arches” is both epic and intimate — a moment of quiet awe in a place where earth and sky meet in slow, deliberate motion.

This photograph captures not just a landscape, but a sense of permanence — a reminder of nature’s patience, artistry, and grandeur in the wide, open West.

This picture was taken on a cross country road trip in the summer of 2024.
